My for passion painting began at age 13 when I took a class my Uncle was teaching in basic oil landscape painting. Since then I have developed my own personal style using oils and acrylic paints on canvas and wall murals employing various dry brush techniques.
I enjoy being creative and love to experiment with many different styles from portraits to landscape and also some abstract work, taking inspiration in everything around me.
Since moving to Salt Spring Island, I have been inspired to paint more landscapes but ultimately enjoy sculpting the abstract visions that spill out my head and onto the canvas. Exploring the inner subconscious imagery with light and colour, as well as creating abstract views of the beautiful British Columbia landscape are both things I feel compelled to do.
The end result is something I hope others can enjoy as much as I do.
